[Vortex] Patches for building on Mac OS X

For what its worth, it occurred to me that vortex is clean C code, and
is probably easier to build without autotools. It was.

Basically, I have a checkout from svn of axl and vortex. Above the svn
checkouts, I have this Makefile, and it builds static libs that work
fine for me.

Sorry, its not really a patch, but if somebody wants to build on OS X,
it seems to work.

Oh, and I don't have a clue what the DTD and TOP dirs are for (xml-rpc
support?), I just point them somewhere
so the build works.

Cheers,
Sam
