Hi, thanks for your reply. It nailed down, that I didn't had to use the NAT (which is a software NAT from VMWare) address but the address of the VM running the BEEP listener. Even this VM is running on a seperate subnet.

But it seems that the SSH port-forwarding from the outside, already brings the TCP traffic to the subnet, through the NAT. Hence I can directly use the IP address on the subnet. I didn't know this was possible.

So, a simple change in the IP address solved the problem.
