Hi Francis, thanks. I tried it and now get:

1. running autogen.sh

Within the SVN version of AXL there is no Makefile.in. Where can I get it?

2. Before running make I had a to call ./configure. Which gives:

3. I used a different Makefile.in (the one from the published version) and than run make, which gave:
