H Francis, so the problem is this on OSX:

mbp:~ robby$ glibtoolize
mbp:~ robby$ type glibtoolize
glibtoolize is hashed (/opt/local/bin/glibtoolize)

mbp:~ robby$ libtoolize
- -bash: libtoolize: command not found

Which means, there is no libtoolize on OSX. Hence, I think the config files need to be adjusted. I haven't gone through this yet.
