Hello ,

I am using the latest vortex library
available on sourceforge.
The scenario is such that my initiator
is connected to listener and in the event of listener going down the
initiator keeps on trying to connect to the listener until the listener
comes up.
This reconnection attempt is tried periodically
after every 30 seconds. After some time, say 4-5 hours(the listener is
still down) i get the system error(set in errno in linux) as socket
call failed; too many open files.
This is happening even after calling
vortex_close_connection before every reconnection attempt to listener.
Seems socket descriptor used for connection attempt is not closing.
Please let me know if anybody has faced
similar problem and the possible solutions too :-)
