<div>I was struggling with the same problem as well last Friday. I observed that libvortex provides a way to disable building python binding via passing --<span style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">disable-py-vortex</span> flag at the time of running autogen/configure script. However there is no such flag available within libaxl. The <a href="http://configure.ac">configure.ac</a> doesn't list out any such flag either. Finally I had to install python to let the libaxl configure proceed.</div>
