[Vortex] Replymessage / timeout

Hi,

When I am waiting reply from server:

    frame = vortex_channel_wait_reply (channel, msg_no, wait_reply);

I get after a while waiting the reply an error message "there was an 
error while receiving the reply or a timeout have occur".
I haven't sent the reply yet and my connection is very slow. I would 
like to keep waiting the reply message.
How much is that timeout value and can I change it somehow from somewhere?
